One weekend. Two morning rides. Good trails, good company, and lots of yarns with a group of top quality blokes.
1-3 May 2026
Friday arrival, Saturday morning ride, Sunday morning ride.
Kinloch, Taupō
Lakefront village, trail access, and a proper base for the weekend.
Annual MBC weekend
A once-a-year get-together built around riding and catching up.
Lake views, trail time, and an outstanding weekend away
Kinloch sits at the heart of the W2K trail network — purpose-built singletrack winding through native bush and pine forest with lakefront views of Taupō. Flowy berms, technical roots, punchy climbs, and fast descents across trails suited to all levels.
A riding weekend with good fellowship and a lot of laughs
Bike Camp is the annual Kinloch MBC weekend. The point is simple: get good blokes together, get two good rides in, and make a proper weekend of it.
Friday arrival. Saturday morning ride. Sunday morning devotion and ride. The rest is left open for telling the same yarns as every other year.
Kinloch gives the weekend the right feel: trails nearby, the lake on hand, and Taupo township just down the road.
Saturday morning
The main ride window for the weekend. Early start, good trail time, then the rest of the day stays open.
Sunday morning
Devotion then one last ride before pack-up and departures. Enough to finish the weekend properly.
Less event. More annual ritual.
The MBC team keeps coming back because the formula works — good trails, good company, and a weekend that doesn't try too hard.
The shape of the weekend
Simple, loose, and built around the two morning rides.
